Ok, so this is going to be my "official" English blog for my exchange in Belgium. Haha, I know I have a million and one blogs already, but I wanted keep this coming year separate so it'll be easier to look back on it later. My normal blog is judy-person.livejournal.com, but I'm not going to use that for this year.  Not going to use my judy.vox.com either, I just don't like it as much for some reason.  I'm just going to use this one, and my French blog at jewdy.wordpress.com. 
Anyway, that's all pretty boring stuff.  Just thought I should say somewhere which blogs I am actually using/not using so I don't get confused later, haha.

So, I've talked a little with my host family by email, mostly with my host sister Claire.  She seems really nice, and I'm glad to have a sister close to my age.  She goes to my school too, which will probably be helpful (she's 14, so she won't be in my grade or anything, but she can probably help me out with where to go and such).  Also, my host dad sent me an email wishing me a happy birthday in English, which I thought was really nice.  I just can't wait to meet them!  They live in a little village (haha, 700 people) called Meix-le-Tige in Luxembourg.  I couldn't find any really good pictures online, but I'll be sure to post some when I get there.  From what little I've seen of it, it looks really pretty.  My school is in Arlon, the capital, which I'm kind of glad for.  Not that I'm not excited to live in a cute little village, but I'm sort of a city kid, haha (although Arlon still has around the same population as my neighborhood, it's the biggest city in the province).

I can't believe I'm leaving so soon!  I know I say that every day and everyone is sick of hearing it, but still, the summer is going so fast.  I can't wait!

Exactly 7 weeks until I leave for Belgium.
I'll tell you when I'm nervous.
